A woman with long brown hair, green eyes, and piercings, smiling at the camera in front of a wooden background.

Hi, I’m Celsea — pronounced Kelsey.

My parents didn’t want to spell my name with a K because my older sister is Kayla… but then they went on to give two kids names that start with J. The audacity!

I’m 35 years old and a mom to a beautifully chaotic blended family — four biological kids and four soon-to-be step kids. Life is loud, busy, messy, and full, and that energy absolutely shows up in my art.

I grew up in California, moved to Washington State at 18, spent years bouncing around Washington and Alaska, and finally landed in Utah in 2022. Everywhere I’ve lived has shaped how I see the world — and how I draw it.

Art Has Always Been the Thing

I’ve been obsessed with art since third grade, when I learned about Van Gogh and Monet and realized that making things could be emotional, expressive, and a little bit unhinged (in the best way).

From that point on, I always had some kind of art supply in my hands.
Christmas after Christmas brought a new art kit.
There were so many broken crayons.
So many cut-up photos.
Many sacrifices were made for the art.

It wasn’t a phase — it was in my bones.

Life Outside the Stickers

When I’m not drawing, you’ll usually find me:

  • playing video games

  • crocheting something I absolutely didn’t need to start

  • baking for people I love

  • reading high fantasy (give me Brandon Sanderson or Patrick Rothfuss forever)

  • singing with my future husband on our YouTube channel

  • helping run our band’s YouTube behind the scenes

  • or cuddling my orange, brain-cell-less cat, Oliver

All of those things feed into my work — the humor, the softness, the chaos, and the heart.

Why This Matters

Red Fawn Designs exists because I believe planners, journals, and creative spaces should feel human. They should reflect real moods, real life, and real people — not just perfect aesthetics.

If you’ve ever felt like your planner was part organizer, part emotional support notebook…
you’re my kind of person.

And I’m really glad you’re here.
